I'd probably feel lost if there weren't such info in the viewfinder of
my camera (which is not a pentax I'm sorry), and that is because my
first and loved camera was (this may also fit into the "your first
pentax thread") an MX which too shows aperture and speed in the VF.

btw, the camera was bought by my father I believe in the 76 or so,
just when it was produced... and it's still there !

Sometimes I feel like I made a mistake to witch to another manufacturer...
