Battery Q - CRV3 vs AA Lithium

I just loaded the CRV3 batteries that came with my *ist-D - even though they 
are well within the exiration date, I figured that after almost 2 years it 
was time to use them.

How does the life of 2 CRV3's compare to 4 lithium AA's?
