Off-topic generally but related to this: I once watched a TV show about the photographing of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and was pretty amazed to see the photographer, a petite young woman, hand-holding a Mamiya RB (or RZ? I couldn't tell which)67. I thought *that* was strictly a tripod-mount camera, but I guess I was wrong!

The RB is much heavier than the RZ. I've only handled an RZ a couple of times but I think it'd be quite easy to use handheld.

Using the RB with its left-hand grip is a good way to hurt your wrist. I could only hold it in place for a couple of minutes. The rack & pinion focussing is great on a tripod but it made hand-holding much harder.

That grip does make a good carry-handle though, just like the wooden grip for the Pentax 6x7.
