Yeah. There are a few things in the RAW file besides the RAW data. The EXIF (of course), three different JPEGS (thumbnail, 640x480, and LQ full-sized), and the RAW data are all there. The RAW data is always the same size (2008x3034 or whatever times 1.5 bytes/pixel... basically 9 MB). The small variation in size is mostly due to how much the LQ full-size JPEG compresses around its nominal 1MB size.
