It happened only once or twice, and I attributed it to the low batteries. I haven't done anything (rather than replacing the batteries), and it seemingly worked alright ever since that. A year or two years later the winder mechanism broke, but this could have been unrelated (could be from a impact/shake the camera experienced) Igor
