So, what is the problem then? All you need is a new wide angle to make the lens line complete, and with only 1.3x crop the situation is better than with the present 1.6x crop. They have shown that the can make telecentric lenses with the 14mm (and the coming 12-24mm), so they can do that for the 645D as well.
Also: With the 645D the upper limit for the number of pixels is a lot more than the FF sensor have. That is, of course, if you believe that Pentax will be produce a (645D) dslr at all...
