Not so much a leap as just testing the waters - getting my feet wet, so to speak. However, I am excited about trying the camera and exploring the possibilities of digital a little more than with a P&S camera. Not having to process film is a very appealing ... and using a plastic zoom lens is certainly intriguing <LOL>
