Hey Bob,
Although this lens is labeled macro, I believe it's magnification without
extension tubes is only .31. With extension tubes, it's something like 1.04.
That's the only quirk I can think of. Otherwise, it's a painfully sharp lens
with all the great things you'd expect from a top notch Pentax SMC lens.
With the exception of the magnification issue, I wholeheartedly recommend
it.
