The Zenitar is a K mount not Ka, on the Canon it would be non coupling,
the EOS mount is all
electronic. Theres nothing electronic in the Zenitar for it to couple
with.

The Zenitar-K 16mm f/2.8 Fish-Eye is a fully implemented M/K-bayonet
lens. It does not require stop-down metering for the DSLRs. It works
like any other M/K-bayonet lens does on an Pentax MX. To use it with
the DSLRs requires the green button/AE-Lock button press with the
camera set to Manual exposure mode for virtual aperture priority AE
operation.
