Hey Godfrey, > Why not just get an extension cord for the remote switch and click it with the same hand > that's holding either the flash unit or shade cloth? any three-contact telephone headset > extension cord from Radio Shack would do for the CS-205.
Someone more talented might be able to do this, but while I have tried this, it just doesn't seem to work well. The diffuser I use is big and bulky, and my flash is terrifyingly expensive, and since I'm usually taking these photos in treacherous sphagnum bogs and or on false lake bottoms, I am always just one step away from plunging into a watery grave. Holding more than one thing in each hand is just asking for trouble. > You might also consider buying the Canon remote switch, Canon Remote Switch RS-60E3, instead. > It's $10 cheaper and works exactly the same way. Hmm. A buddy of mine has a Canon. Can I make his camera fire at unintended moments? It would be great as a practical joke. :) Barry Barry A.
