Christian learned that equipment matters. the lens needs support just so that you can take more than a couple of pictures a day. he didn't say how many Wimberley heads there were at the workshop, but i would bet around half.
All the big lenses of 500mm or 600mm were mounted on gimball heads (Wimberley, but I think there was a Kirk as well).
