It's less and less likely that anyone short of a full-time professional race driver (and sometimes not even then) can out-perform the modern "driver aids" such as traction control and ABS.
In most conditions, I agree with you. I get the full gamut here.ABS falls apart in really low traction conditions, and I get enough of that where I live to find it a liability.
