Again, camera equipment is not an investment. It's a tool purchase, a capital asset.

That's what I'm doing with regard to future equipment purchases.

I deal with present equipment purchases based on the need at hand. I don't consider the present to include a forever future. I deal with future equipment purchases when the future arrives.
