The funny thing is, looking from the bridge down to the distant gorge
below didn't make me the least bit nervous, but standing on a wobbly step
ladder makes me nervous as hell. ;)
I can walk up to the edge of a mile deep gorge and look down, no problems.
I can hang my stupid ass off the side of a balloon basket at 2000' AGL,
doesn't bother me a bit.
Get me 16' up on an extension ladder an I am wetting myself.
