I was thinking, interestingly enough...Since Pentax was a Zeiss(?) trademark
that Asahi bought - 
Pentax = PENTaprism + contAX    - right?  I've read this in several places
And thus is
Pentacon = PENTAprism + CONtax??

All of a sudden the names seemed so similar to me...
