You know what?  I was impressed as hell with the performance to price ratio
of that lens.  A zoom of that range for CDN$500 or so that gave quite usable
results, especially up to the 200 - 250mm point.  No, it's not a top
performer, and yes, it had faults, but the bang for the buck certainly was
there.  Sometimes I wish I had kept mine.
