There's nothing wrong with being lazy or busy necessarially, right?
One could have asked "Why take your film to a processor when you can develop it and print it at home?" It's the same situation.
Photoshop is immensely powerful. As a corporeal being with a finite lifespan, if I stumble across something that gives the results I want and saves time, I tend to use it.
I like Photoshop but after having used it since 1996 and gone through versions 3.0 - CS2, having bought 3 or 4 tutorial books that often teach a heck of a lot of stuff I don't care about... taking the easy road can give more time for actual photography or whatever. It's being results oriented vs. process oriented.
