Thanks all for the comments. The violin does need something. Like a stand. Or something to lean against or on. It does look lonely.
The normal petina of the table I find not a distraction if the rest of the image improves. The wear on the violin hasn't been mentioned. Hardly a fine piece of equipment. I also shot both with 4x5 Acros. "Darkroom Saturday" is coming. Maybe "Darkroom Friday" if we get enough snow tonight. Collin
