Sadly yes...

I still shoot film, and will be shooting a mix of film
and digital in the near future. I still like film;
love the look of it.

Anyway, same old story: I shoot more seriously now
(www.cliffnietvelt.com), Canon offers many options
film and digital wise (pro bodies), used equipment
market is great, AF teleconverters, good long lens
choice (will be getting a 300mm f2.8 or 500mm f4.5
used + rentals)...

However I will say that the Z1p and MZ-S are very fine
film bodies; some of the best ever designed. I like
the "go small" philosophy of Pentax, but it never
really caught on, espcially if you are a nature
photographer. Also, if my Pentax gear gets
stolen/breaks it is harder to replace ASAP (e.g. they
no longer make the FA* 300mm f4.5).

Bottom line I just use a different hammer and saw
now...
