Sadly yes... I still shoot film, and will be shooting a mix of film and digital in the near future. I still like film; love the look of it.
Anyway, same old story: I shoot more seriously now (www.cliffnietvelt.com), Canon offers many options film and digital wise (pro bodies), used equipment market is great, AF teleconverters, good long lens choice (will be getting a 300mm f2.8 or 500mm f4.5 used + rentals)... However I will say that the Z1p and MZ-S are very fine film bodies; some of the best ever designed. I like the "go small" philosophy of Pentax, but it never really caught on, espcially if you are a nature photographer. Also, if my Pentax gear gets stolen/breaks it is harder to replace ASAP (e.g. they no longer make the FA* 300mm f4.5). Bottom line I just use a different hammer and saw now... --- William Robb <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Cliff Nietvelt" > Subject: Re: OT/FS: SMCP-F* 300mm f4.5 ED (IF) AF > lens > > > > Yes, > > > > One of the best 300mm "f4's" from any manufacterer > > ever made.
