I've also seen it referred to as "screen". The gamut of sRGB was deliberately specified to match the phosphors used in the majority of computer monitors. Nevermind the fact that working colour spaces are meant to be device-independent and should ideally encompass the limitations of the entire workflow.

I can think of another suitable "s" word if you're interested...
