Good thing you don't live in the UK ;-)
Your politicians should wake up and do what ours did... don't scrap the
TV license fee: build it into the regular income tax. When you're not
made specifically aware of the fee then you won't complain :)
They did that here and I've been complaining ever since: I have an income,
but no TV :(
