> No question. Tamron SP 28-75 f2.8 XR Di. Small, light, sharp as a > tack, gorgeous colour, good bokeh.
The Tamron is a really fine lens IMHO, other features I really like are: 1. The focus ring turns in the same direction as a genuine Pentax lens. 2. Zoom lock feature, preventing the lens from extending while the camera is hung from your neck 3. Common (to Pentax) 67mm filter size. Since buying the Tamron I seldom use a number of my primes, in particular the FA 28 f2.8 and only use my FA 50 f1.4 and FA 35mm f2 when I think there may be some slight advantage even if it's only the brighter viewfinder image. Regularly take out a small camera bag containing the Tamron 28-75, FA 24 f2 and FA 85 f1.4 and some 67mm filters and accessories, one size fits all. It would be nice to add the FA 20mm f2.8 if I could find one at reasonable cost, until then I'll stick with the 18mm f3.5 K.
