Uh huh.

It would be nice. Probably a big pain for Adobe too to keep updating the RAW 
convertor. Certainly it must be for the Irfanview guy who several people on 
this list wrote. And evidentially he's just one bloke.

I have a feeling that eventually there may be one file format. Could be 
wrong, but it makes sense. DVDs, CDs, etc. have basically one format (well, not 
talking about the +/- R thing.) Hope RAW formats don't end up like that too, 
two 
major types. But, still, two major types would be better than lots and lots of 
them.
