I found it interesting that Helmut Newton, a famous and in more than one
respect "style creating" photographer, whom by many is actually regarded an
artist, says, that the word "art" should not be used around photography.

This could lead me to conclude that an artist is not: "Someone, who says
he/she is an artist". Claiming to be an artist certainly doesn't make you
one. Claiming that photography is art doesn't make it art.
