I would like to make a suggestion for someone looking for a very high -
quality quiet camera in the Leica M ilk. That is the CL. It is a Leica
made by Minolta but it takes Leica M lenses including the amazing 40mm
summicron-c. The camera has a built-in spot meter and shows the selected
shutter speed in the viewfinder - manual mode only. It is a manual camera
and only needs the battery for the meter to work. It is a great camera and
without a doubt capable of producing images along the lines of the very best
Pentax SMC has to offer.
Camera plus lens can be found on EBAY for $550 - $600 USD.
