Pros:
Snap-in Focus, fast and accurate AF, no lenses backward compatibility
problems, a remote control release in addition to the cable release,
exposure lock, exposure compensation, 6-segment matrix metering - VERY
accurate in difficult lighting conditions
Cons:
no autobracketing, no spot meter, no mirror lock-up, no DOF preview, matrix
metering tends to overexpose scenes in open sun by 1/2 to 1EV
Conclusion: a very good starting camera for those amateurs, who are serious
about photography, or a nice and not very expensive backup body for advanced
photographers
Hope this helps
