Have done. Lets see if they answer. But the
firmware version was still 1.0 which is not a
good sign is it?

Hi all,
Does anyone know when Pentax fixed the flash
circuitry in the *ist D? The new camera
arrived today and the s/n is 5774677 -- the
old one was 5501200. I'm hoping I have the
improved model.
