I wondered about this too.  Pentax has a long history of releasing a model and then an update after hearing user reactions.  Consider:

Me - Me Super
Sf - Sf-N
Pz-1 - Pz-1p
Mz5 - Mz5n

But, they never released a new version of the LX, though they continued to tweak it through the years.  I find the Mz-S to be a pretty complete camera - flash compensation, a faster motor, and one mor AF Sensor are about the only things I think could be added, the last two don't seem critical to me, the first will be addressed in the new flash.

The Mz-S might follow the Lx model, with the minor tweaks coming via software enhancements.

Hello
I only wish to shout once more that I really wish Pentax to make a Much better SLR than the MZ-S...

Please give me a chance to see a MZ-Sn with some change as the PZ-1/Z-1 and the PZ-1p/Z-1p, or the MZ-5 and the MZ-5n...

See you

PS: I know, I am repeating myself...but this is really I think Pentax needs to do in order to go on making us dream and hopefull with the K bayonet
