Reminds me of a certain curve @ GFM.

Kenneth Waller Very nice.

Reminds me of the GFM road but more visible

Dave
Sorry if I look stupid: what is GFM road?
Nice. I suppose you could have had the car in the image multiple times.
I like the way the road winds down the mountain showing where the car came from.
It shows much better at full screen. I bet the full pano is great!

Yes, I could have had the car multiple times... I even considered it at shooting time... I just figured out it would probably not improve the picture.
I like this. And I've seen it in car commercials. Quite an interesting twisty bit of road. Well done. Paul
Quite a good advertising opporunity for tyres, brakes, and various security devices indeed. That road goes further up winding like this. I initially went there to get a vertical pano showing this road from above, but could not find the right spot. I got this one instead.
Very good, in fact it is terrific. I suggest you print it large... The outcome must be quite enjoyable... Boris
I had it printed in 25x60cm this afternoon at a local photo lab that has a large format inkjet tracer (up to 60cm x 1.80m and more). At that size it is still more than 300dpi, and I can tell it looks great. For the print, I darkened a bit the tiny clear elements on the very top left, and the rock area on the very right.

I still have to frame it now!

I wondered for a while whether I should keep the car or not. Finally, the picture seems more alive with it. The day I buy a ND400 grey filter, I may get up there again, and wait for a car with a long exposure.

Thanks for all your kind comments. I give a great credit to comments I read on this list.

Especially those that tell my pictures are good ;-)

Patrice
