The DL has a nice bright  viewfinder but based on my, (admittedly short 
tome), observation somewhat lower contrast than the DS making manual 
focusing a bit more difficult.  The shot buffer in the DS is much larger 
with a resulting faster response for the second third and even fourth 
shot in a series.
