Pentax normally has a pdf manual online for these.  I get a not found on the 
link from the Pentax USA site, haven't looked at other countries.

I have a 2-xs.  I haven't played with it much, but I've used it on a 28-300 
Tamron zoom and even  on a 500mm f/8 mirror lens.  I sense it will take a 
while/lot's of practice and good luck to get good results.  I'm sure it's 
doable.  The biggest problem I see it the loss of effective aperture, and 
low light in the viewfinder.  All depends on conditions of course.
