But how well set up was the digital system? I ask not to be a smartass, but because my $1,200 standard definition television can outperform $4000-plus high definition sets at my friends' houses. Not because it's better -- it sure ain't -- but because mine's been calibrated and tweaked and theirs is running with its out-of-the-box defaults.
