I wish. We're 43 degrees S (what's the generally accepted "cutoff" for aurora
visibility?), and there's too much light pollution anyway.
I travelled to Tekapo earlier this year, which is one of the clearest places in
the Southern hemisphere. Didn't see any auroras (I was about a week late)
but just seeing so many stars was an incredible experience for a city-boy like
me.
