What are we looking at?

 I missed the beginning. 

The latitude of your color film at that lighting
situation is excellent! 

I am amazed at the detail I see in the foreground
while the industrial situation in the background is
exposed well too.  

You were asking miracles from your film and you got
it. 
I would never have attempted that shot with the
dramatically differring lighting. I am a chicken I
guess. Maybe as a new digital user I can try to break
some rules

I think the shot is excellent...but that's just ME
