I've never seen anything from > a Canon. I'm using the Epson 4800. I'm quite happy with it. The cost per running foot of paper is quite low if you buy the 220ml ink carts. The initial cost of a set of carts is very high though. I'm not printing a heck of a lot, so far, no clogging problems. You want to turn off the automatic head cleaning or it will drink down the carts in a hurry.
