The reason for that situation is simple - one of the biggest  
shareholders of Tamron Inc. is... Sony. That's why some key Tamron  
product are available in Minolta mount, but not for Pentax. On the  
other side Tokina, which is now closely cooperating with Pentax now  
doesn't make their newest lenses in Minolta mount...
