Yes, triangular aperture.  The Contarex version of this lens and some  
of the earlier ones for Rollei have a three-blade diaphragm.  I never  
knew why Zeiss used this very odd design.   It does produce  
triangular out of focus highlights.  I used to have one just like  
this for my Rollei.  Excellent lens, but not worth $ 750.

Also, when a Rollei mount lens is put onto a Canon EOS via an adapter  
you do not get infinity focus, a point he conveniently fails to  
mention. You end up with a close-up lens.
