I wouldn't know, from all accounts the plugged holes are completely 
hidden from view on the K100D the only way to discover them is by 
destructive disassembly of the mirror box.  I'm not prepared to do that 
with a working camera.  I can however tell you that the *ist-D mirror 
box seems to be identical to the ZX-5n mirror box with the exception of 
the PZ contacts and the aperture simulator, the openings for both could 
be plugged in the D.
