I heard that all buttons are fully mappable . :-)

Yes, you'll have to change your trigger finger, unless pentax decides to
make the green button AE-L function the same way when non A lenses are
mounted and the camera is in manual mode, no reason they couldn't since
the AL-L button on the D does nothing when there's an K lens mounted and
the camera is in M mode.  But I doubt it works that way now.

Welcome to the club, many of us question why Pentax makes it's decisions.
