One thought on this - I quit using wireless on my *istD when the flash
was on my stroboframe bracket.  What I found was that the distance,
reflectivity of the subject and ambient light levels would cause the
wireless to fail sometimes.  Basically, the little RTF didn't have
enough power to trigger the slave.  Now I just use a cord and two
connectors.
