Well I just had a similar experience to yours: Someone on the list must
have tipped off KEH to my post because they just *phoned* me and told me
they'd give me a $50.00 credit on my American Express card for the dented
filter ring!

BTW: I bought my F100/2.8 macro - pretty much the same as the FA - from
them and isn't it an amazing lens?!
