Kind of a laughable idea when you consider that the camera in question is a pocket-sized compact. I don't go "shooting events" with a P&S, and the DoF of any digital P&S is so great that you couldn't tell whether it was actually in or out of focus on the built in LCD anyway. The Fuji F30 is a great little camera. I'd like the same thing but with manual focus capability, a prime lens with about 40mm equivalent field of view, and RAW format, not this "face detection" nonsense.
