VR  is a great feature, but I'd give it up for those precious stops of 
speed at wider angles.

I don't find its noise levels objectionable, I like a little texture to 
my high-ISO work. The switch from D50 to K100D opened my eyes to the 
possibilities.

The S5 interests me little. It's advantages are not what I need in a Camera.
