When you get your new Dell have your young friend come over and set it up for you (if possible). The first thing to do is wipe the hard drive completely and re-install the Operating System. This will get rid of all the extra crap Dell throws on there. Replace the "30-day trial" versions of the stuff they try to foist on you with free and better replacements.
