Hi Paul, No I couldn't dig out. There was a spring under the road, and the more I dug, the deeper the truck sank. However this was a tributary off a dirt road that can be seen behind the truck, and a walk of a couple of miles got me to a small cabin that had a phone. I called a towing service and they sent a big wrecker which got the truck outta the muck - and got $60.00 outta my wallet as well ;-))
