Actually I believe that they are allowed to add their own, and other 
software by agreement, (under penalty of Anti Trust action), but 
removing something that Microsoft includes is a different matter, 
especially since installation CD/DVDs are no longer included, and most 
people don't know how to re-install, and will probably never re-install 
the OS, barring a complete melt down.
