Bur why when the lenses and bodies have autoapertue that isnt necessary!
Seems like a pretty crazy way to operate. WHY??? WHY??? WHY???

Quit doubting, I just flat out said it.

I tend to shoot at a stop or two down from wide open, maybe f5.6 at the 
smallest, so focusing is quite easy with good glass in decent light.
