According to one Pentax press release K10D [auto bracket] can automatically create 3 images with different lightness, contrast or saturation, by not making 3 shots, but simply processing image input with higher bit depth. Clever... I remember there's Hasselblad that uses 22-bit A/D conversion, although camera is solely for professional use.
