This is one of my favorite shots from the recent /Petit le Mans/ event at Road Atlanta. This is the diesel Audi R10 that ended up winning the event. This photo was taken during practice the Thursday before the main event on Saturday. In this photo, the Audi has reached "track out" after negotiating turn seven and is accelerating at max throttle down the back "straight" at Road Atlanta. Alan McNish is at the wheel. The car is travelling roughly 125 mph and is accelerating as hard as he can. The photo is presented directly from the camera via Raw Shooter Essentials (all defaults). Full frame. No "exposure compensation" during the conversion.
