I have left the little cubby hole of Panama City, Florida for the
month on a business trip with personal enjoyment overtones. I have already
sent out messages to PDMLers in the Maryland/Virginia and New York City
areas since this is where I will be. I am so looking forward to getting
together with those I can. If there is anyone I overlooked - mea culpa. I
will be spending the weekdays in Baltimore and weekends will be in NYC.
Drop me a line.

Last night I got together with Tom Van Veen. We had met once
before. See, I can't be that bad if he was willing to get together again -
but what does that say about him, hmmmmm.

Anyway, we had a great time! I was toting along the MZ-S, LX, A 50
1.4, and 77 Limited. I am curious to see how the shots came out. He even
shot a few with both. Yes - I finally let him see my original, brassed and
dinged LX ;-)

We met for dinner at Fells Point - the older harbor section of
Baltimore. A lot of atmosphere there. Great photography, if we were not
busy stuffing our faces. I did not think of it then, but in spirit we
raised our glasses of Bass to the PDML. During the walk back to the Inner
Harbor some shots were taken using trash receptacles as tripods. I may have
to get these rolls developed before I get home just to see the results. I
may even spare you the shot taken of the remains of our All You Can Eat
crabfest. Tom said it was a pity I did not have a macro with me to get down
into the bucket.

No real reason for this post (sorry), just thought people might be
interested. So far I have only met two people from the list and I had a
great time with both. If ever anyone has a chance to meet a fellow PDMLer -
go for it.

Enjoy your day, headed to NYC tomorrow,

                        Cesar
